The province can be reached by plane or overland via Routes 40 and 143 cross Mendoza north to south, and Route 7, the bi-oceanic corridor, which crosses the country from east to west, connecting Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile. Along with the neighboring provinces of San Juan, San Luis and La Rioja, Mendoza forms the region of Cuyo.

The weather is pleasant, warm and with little rain.
